These optometrists have now introduced a discretionary admin charge of $25 for pensioners. I believe it's totally unnecessary and just another one of those cash grabs. I did object to this payment and did not receive my glasses. I daresay they will charge the govt for my glasses, whether I have them or not.
It's a miracle! I can see! Special thanks to Scott and the team at Fitzpatrick Optometrist. Would highly recommend.
36 hours after my eye examination I received my glasses. Unbelievable fast service!
I recently needed a new set of glasses from Fitzpatrick's. The whole experience was "top shelf". The initial booking of appointment; the online reminder message; welcome from reception upon arrival; testing and recommendations by Scott; and the sooner than expected delivery of the new glasses. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL ROUND!!!! (And Scott looks just so much like "Francis Fryer" in the production of Calamity Jane.)
