Brought an 11 year old Tucson in for Hyundai recalls only. It included anti-corrosion treatment of the underbody, probably labor intensive with the June heat. After I picked up the car, had to hurry and did not look the car over carefully. Stopping at a grocery store, I noticed many scratches around the gas flap, doors, quarter panels, with the worst one being on the A pillar, looked like some metal tool was dragged across it, scratching a 5 inch length of A pillar down to the metal. I had a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience at Fitzgerald Hyundai Gaithersburg that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I dropped off my 2013 Elantra for service in April. They called to say there was a nail in one tire and asked if I wanted it replaced. At no point did they mention that the tire was flat. I had to leave the car overnight. Sure, maybe the tire went completely flat during that time — maybe lifting and lowering the vehicle caused the nail to shift and let out air—very possible. But what’s not acceptable is ... read more
