No one ever shows anyone how to take care of funeral planning. My dad passed on December 11th 2024. He was brought from a nursing home to Fitzgerald. From day 1 it was a run around. I came to the funeral home after my dad's transport hoping to see my dad 1 last time. The director at that point had said that my sister was making arrangements and there was a time set up the following Friday to come see him. The following Friday arrived and we met with the director. Zeya at Fitzgerald really helped me out. I needed help finding a burial site. I didn’t have the money for the headstone back many years ago. I was trying so hard to find where the site was. They were able to help me, with much effort, find the site. They really went above and beyond to help me find the cemetery. It meant the world to me. Now I can finally be at peace.
