Not only are they refusing to refund my money; they're not allowing me to cancel my membership. The facilities are subpar and the billing is fraudulent

2 stars - it's a gym, nothing more - nothing less; except maybe the staff WARNING :: Sign up in the gym - if you sign up online make sure you verify you've signed up for month-to-month!!! They will scam you into an annual contract (Full Individual - Pay Monthly) if you don't triple check; and then tell you it's your fault. They do allow you three (3) days to cancel in the beginning of the contract. Terrible gym! DO NOT sign up!! I recently called to cancel my membership because there’s no way Id pay any amount of money to enter this gym’s terrible facilities. Equipment falling apart, (used a chest press machine and the handle came unpinned and jolted the whole machine mid lift) not enough machines or benches or weights of any form. When I tried to cancel I was informed I was locked into a twelve month contract and I was told it was somewhere in their lengthy agreement. It's super clean, and staff went above and beyond in assisting me. The owner Gary was so generous and kind to me, a complete stranger. As a 24 hour gym, it's well-lit outside, which is very important to me as a woman. IYKYK ladies! 10/10 recommend.
