Fitness World in Ankeny is hands down the best Ankeny gym I have ever been to. The facilities are clean, welcoming, and packed with everything you need, whether you are just starting your fitness journey or looking to take it to the next level. Best gym in Ankeny! Always clean, equipment breakdowns are fixed promptly, I LOVE the steam room, and being able to drop the kids off in the Kid's Gym for some supervised fun while getting a workout in is something I don't think I could do without now that I've had it.

I’ve been going here for over a year now. The facility and the equipment are great. The staff are welcoming and do an excellent job of keeping the gym clean and organized. Tyler Schmidt has been my personal trainer and I HIGHLY recommend him. Tyler makes our training sessions an excellent work out and he keeps them fun. His training knowledge is informative and helpful for understanding how to do the exercise/lift and why it benefits you. Really appreciate the hard work he puts in designing my fitness regimen!

The amenities are nice, the sauna is very enjoyable and front desk staff very pleasant and helpful. Very disappointed by some of the interactions with other members and a staff member named Denise.
