Hidden fees, Auto-deductions and cancellations... 24.95$/month sounds like a deal, right? i have no complaints about the facility itself; maybe one caveat that for a facility of its size and there are four shower stalls for Men. waiting for a shower is the last thing someone wants to do after a long workout. of course you can always try to schedule the correct time when no one else in Lexington is working out there. might as well work out at home, if one goes down that path of thought... the second month of billing, you WILL... read more

Complete Rip-off (ZERO STARS!) Complete Rip-Off. Mystery deductions from bank account then takes over a month to get back the money. Canceled the membership due to an injury that required surgery and months of rehab. Followed the procedures they set to cancel membership. Got run around for over 30 days and $49.99 later. They refunded pro-rated month but ignore request for refund of over $500 owed me for personal training sessions not used. Corporate number loops you to no one and certified mail does nothing. Nightmare gym and trainers My husband and I joined this gym due to its proximity to my house. We were told when we signed up for both the gym and personal training that if we moved 25 miles away from the gym we would be able to cancel our membership. It does state that in the contract as we checked.We moved out of town about a moonth after joining. We called to cancel our membership and they said we had to do it in person. Stop - Read and Re-Read Contracts Careful --- Don't use debit card or ACH auto withdrawals for payment. YOU MUST CANCEL or contract will automatically renew. My facility was gloomy.

Buyer Beware of this Gym Be very careful if considering this gym. Check the central Kentucky BBB out before joining. There not accredited for a reason I’m sure. The have a D- rating. Not Good. They re-direct you to work things out with there contact “Dwight Condor”. Save yourself the time! His help is worthless. They have major complaints about Contract terms, selling practices, and billing practices. Once you give the OK to draw from your account have fun stopping Urban Active.
