Back in the day, this was the gym for me! It had classes, was clean, and had friendly staff. Now that Athletics Club has sold out to Fitness for 10, it is not worth my time. ALL classes were cancelled , despite the high demand for them, and now I am stuck with a prepaid gym membership that they refuse to refund.
The club is dirty and smells dreadful in the back part of the gym. The language that's used by the customers is very offensive. I went there to work out not here every curse word in the book. Also, we were told on the phone that we could pay our membership dues with cash before the due date and we wouldnt incur any fees. We ended up paying in cash 2 days before the due date and were still charged $40 in fees. The manager there is very ill-mannered and was avoiding me when I went in there to discuss the charges. Awesome health club with everything I need. No extra frills... just a great fitness center with all the equipment, classes and even a program for the kids to get in shape. well run, clean and maintained well. Freindly staff with 20 years of history.
Best of all Health Clubs in Brandon, FL. Been to them all. Beautiful club, with friendly staff! Very clean and extremely affordable! Been exercising for many years. One of the best clubs I have ever seen. A++++ You will not be disappointed. Great variety of music as well.
Can count on them If you are in for working out with very loud heavy metal music, this is the place for you. The cardio area has very nice music but the free weights area is not good. Management will take your money but do not expect a family/friendly environment
