Been at FF for more than 3 years. Steam room never works, it's a shame that the fees go up all the time but the steam room can't be fixed. Waste of time trying to plan a routine while attending this location.

Gyms should be a safe and welcoming space for everyone, regardless of their background or confidence level. Behaviour like Jamima’s goes against that and has no place in an environment meant to support and uplift others.

If you want to be publically humiliated go to this gym. My partner has been a member at Fitness First Randwick for 7 years. For the past month, we’ve been training both together and separately while building a routine. During a 50-minute leg session, while waiting for the leg press machine, a staff member approached us and said she had been “watching for five minutes” and repeatedly accused my partner of not working out—even though he clearly was. Pretty rude and actually condescending conversation with the membership man today, who made some offensive personal remarks towards my decision to not immediately sign up. Pretty weird strategy for a subscription business!

I have been coming to fitness first for around a year now, and have been really enjoying the gym, as well as the classes. My only complaint is the opening hours, it’s so hard for people who do shift work to use to gym as it’s only open at 6am and then shut quite early as well, especially on weekends. Would love to see the open hours extended to 5am or so
