Jesus and the front desk greet everyone coming and going. Always offer drinks or other services. Management and Staff always there to answer your questions or needs.
In May 2018 I cancelled my membership to join another gym. Our auto payments were on a CC that we never used. We sat down with Eloy (sales mgr at FC), he helped us send our cancel request and email, then informed us that everything was complete and thanked us for our time at their gym. My mistake was trusting that everything was taken care of (like I was promised) and trusting that the company was honorable. WARNING WARNING ---- Please, Please check out the reviews of this company (Fitness Connection) before signing anything. Based off my experience it may cost you more than you think. This business is not (or can’t get) Better Business Bureau accredited due to poor business practices and virtually no customer satisfaction on complaints, which are numerous. Please PLEASE PLEASE think twice about joining this gym. The cancellation policy is ridiculous. They require you to send in a letter to the HQ. Now remember dont forget to track the letter because if you dont it seems to get 'lost'. Believe me, im not the only person who this has happened to. Problem is, even after I have sent in the letter AND recieved acknowledgement that it was recieved I have still been charged for the next 2 MONTHS after that. The person that signed us up lied and was fraudulent. Wish it could be rated a zero. Their Zumba classes are around DOUBLE the maximum capacity posted and in violation of the fire department code. I was told the overcrowding problem was taken care of when I signed up after years of the same violation of exceeding maximum capacity. First day they were 25 people over maximum. I was told by several employees that the class always is in violation. Management has been aware of the issue and has ignored it.
Today as 11/22/2014 Is the 4th time they take $30 out of my bank account and every time I call or go up there they say is the yearly fee they have but why get $120 out of my account if it's only $30!!!!!
DO NOT BELIEVE THE FACEBOOK SCORE FOR THIS GYM. It is total bogus as you can see very unhappy customers. Ive been hit with at least 6 late fees not including their bogus return fee adds another 10$ added to each fee NONE WHICH WAS MY REASON. HIT WITH FEES AS SOON AS I SIGNED UP 1st 2 months. This gym is a joke!! Dont waste your time or your money. I signed up for personal training 3 times a week, when my trainer quit the GM was suppose to call me and set something up with another trainer. Two months later....no call back, although i have called everyday. I go in to speak to her...she is not there!! I call their corporate number..my pt number isn't registered so they cant help me. $380 a month still comes out my account because I "signed a contract" but i get no service. Big rip off, lots of hidden! The $9.95 a month the send in the mail turn to $19.95 when you get there plus a yearly club fee of $29.95 and a join fee as well. Very unprofessional team that runs this place. Watch out, don't be fooled and pressured when at the club to join.
