Great gym and great atmosphere. They have a really cool staff and a lot of equipment. You may want to void the 3:30 to 6:30 crowd other than that I love this gym.
WARNING WARNING ---- Please, Please check out the reviews of this company (Fitness Connection) before signing anything. Based off my experience it may cost you more than you think. This business is not (or can’t get) Better Business Bureau accredited due to poor business practices and virtually no customer satisfaction on complaints, which are numerous. Please PLEASE PLEASE think twice about joining this gym. The cancellation policy is ridiculous. They require you to send in a letter to the HQ. Now remember dont forget to track the letter because if you dont it seems to get 'lost'. Believe me, im not the only person who this has happened to. Problem is, even after I have sent in the letter AND recieved acknowledgement that it was recieved I have still been charged for the next 2 MONTHS after that. Big rip off, lots of hidden! The $9.95 a month the send in the mail turn to $19.95 when you get there plus a yearly club fee of $29.95 and a join fee as well. Very unprofessional team that runs this place. Watch out, don't be fooled and pressured when at the club to join.
Their cancellation policy is ridiculous. In the contract, it says that you must send a letter to cancel. No where does it state that it HAS to be certified. I assumed they received my letter because I never heard from them again. Several months later I received a letter from a collections agency that I owed them $43.26. This shocked me not only because it was months later, but also because they were willing to attempt to ruin a young adult's credit for a measly $43.26. This was my first time stepping foot in a Fitness Connection ever. My brother lives in Allen and told me he joined a gym i should look into. So I went with him to the gym as a guest. I wasn't even there 3 minutes before being hassled by the general manager Mike Underwood about joining and required my drivers license. He also informed me that he wasn't going to give me a tour of the gym because he's "cool". Mike Underwood then seated me at a table and had me fill out paperwork again, pertaining to signing up. Great front desk staff and wonderful daycare staff. Got a trainer and he has helped me a lot. Good gym to work out at. Love getting back healthy and in shape.
The gym looks good doesnt have a pool but my main thing is the vustomer service sucks there an actual manager told me i was manipulating them and their system which is kind of when youtell them that youll want people to join never ask gor brad or brat hes a manger there and he was very rude
