My wife and I joined at the beginning of this year. We primarily do 3 morning classes with Brie Pasos. She does a great job with changing up the exercise routines and the added music is great too. The folks in the class are a good group, some being regular but always new folks showing up to. The young staff have always been nice. I do however wish that Fitness 19 would add more dumbbell weights! We use them in classes and there could be more of a selection, perhaps more medium (10-40 pounds) weights dedicated to the class.
Lately, my experience with Fitness 19’s Livermore location has been taking classes with Brie. I find that taking her classes challenges me more than I could on my own and I don’t have to wait for floor machines. In more than two years of taking her classes, I don’t think I’ve done the same routine more than once. She wants what’s best for us. I’ll start with the positives: the equipment is solid, and the facility is kept clean. Now for the negatives: the staff is consistently unfriendly. When I needed help with the dexterity machine, I approached an employee who was sitting at a desk scrolling on his phone. I said, “Hi, excuse me,” twice but he ignored me completely, pretending I wasn’t there. The front desk staff also never greets members when we come in or leave. The curly hair was rude
The place is super nice, sure it gets busy but every gym does perfect size of a gym has everything you need, snack selection area is small but has great variety of good protein and caffeine, employees are super chill and understanding and addressed my problems super quick
