horrible experience in trying to have my account closed. I was a member for 2 years and moved I forgot to cancel my account before i left. I called to cancel the person said to mail in a letter requesting they cancel. #1 this is annoying #2 after sending the letter in they would not cancel "the owner said he never got it. I had to do a charge back i got a months worth of member ship back but now they keep charging me. This company can keep charging you even if you change your number or that card is expired. BEWARE UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. We provided them with a written request to cancel our gym membership on 07/17/2015. We were charged an additional monthly fee on 08/15/2015. When we went in we were told that only the manager 'Jeff' was allowed to reverse charges and he didn't work on the weekends. When we spoke with the manager 'Jeff' he was very rude and stated that since we gave a 28 day notice and not a 30 day notice he would not give us a refund. WHO RUNS THEIR BUSINESS IN THIS WAY?? Terrible staff. After canceling my membership, one of the female staff members neglected to tell me that I still had 2 months to use my membership. On top of that they continued to change me an extra month! Without telling me! After I tried to complain to the manager there named Adrian, he said there was nothing he was willing to do. I would stay away from this particular fitness 19 and especially from the manager Adrian. They are just a bunch of kids and do not understand how to properly cancel a membership. This is a really good gym with very friendly people. The only downside is there are days they close early...
Fitness 19 is great for those who want to work out at an affordable monthly rate and still achieve maximum physical results! They have all the equipment (both machines and free weight for the weightlifters out there!) you could need to achieve your fitness goals. Their childcare room and staff are the best! The staff is always friendly, and they are always there to help anyone who has an issue (even someone who forgets their card on a regular basis such as myself)!
