Get directionsGreat gym, very clean. Would like to see more plates because sometimes it is a struggle to find 35lb plates, and a dedicated calf machine.
Everything change after the corporate people came in. Change the whole vibe of the gym itself. Raised prices a ridiculous amount for memberships and no improvements followed. The community used to be what made it so awesome. Now people are forced to leave because it’s just not worth it. Overall bad management.
Update 3, 2025-06-11 This review got pretty long, so I'm gonna get back to basics. The new management is continuing to invest in the basics, which make this gym an excellent choice for me. Pros: good selection of weights, cardio equip. Nice area outside on astroturf. The main area is well maintained, even if the barbell plates migrate. It's a 24-hour gym, and overall a solid place to work out late. Cons: if you want to do anything less than a 1 year contract, it's a bit pricey (~$35 every 2 weeks). I joined this gym to get some personal training which I did and she was amazing! I ended up equipping my home with a lot of equipment to work out so did not feel that I needed this any longer. The process to cancel was a nightmare. I stayed within the guidelines to give at least a 30 day notice. The company that they worked with for billing and membership was very difficult to work with and I ended up paying for more months that I needed to. I’ve been going to this gym for just under 2 years and recently cancelled my membership for several reasons. Pros: -Good location central to many Erie neighborhoods -24 hour access so you can workout whenever you want -Basic equipment needs are met Cons: -It’s small. It’s impossible to stretch or do more dynamic exercises without running into someone or being in someone’s way. -It has the basic equipment but lacks things like a hack squat machine or seated leg curl.
