I asked for a tour when I arrived the first time, as I didn’t want to wander into a class area or the wrong locker room. They didn’t seem too enthusiastic about it, but they still showed me around a little bit. Enough to be helpful. I have been going for a month soo far, and each time I show up the gym wasn’t overly crowded. It’s clean in the areas that I go to. I have been a member here for many years. In the past 18 months i have not been able to use the facilities but have still paid the dues each month. I am trying to find out my options so I will not lose all of the dues money I have paid but it is IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a live person. I have called 2 times and the first time I was on hold - with sappy music playing- for 11 minutes. I called back and chose a different option and have been on hold for for over 9 minutes. Beware of staff scamming you into the annual plan and blatantly lying about what fees you have to pay. You have to pay annual AND renewal fees every year, despite telling you the sign up fee is one time only. And there is a month to month membership but they will tell you your only option is annual. Front staff are friendly and amenities are great. But I can't really recommend signing up with people who scam for commissions.

The pool is never open when it's convenient for us older folks that get up early in the morning. West is open 24/7, but I live closer to South 6th Street. I don't want to drive all the way across town just to use the pool when it's convenient for me. Why isn't South 6th Street pool open 24/7?
