A great local gym with something for everyone - even at its busiest, it never feels overcrowded. The staff are always friendly, approachable, and genuinely helpful. Gyms can sometimes feel intimidating, but this one has such a positive, inclusive vibe, which is rare to find. I also did some training sessions with PT Adam, who helped me build confidence and create a plan that’s kept me motivated and consistent. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!
I’m deeply disappointed by my experience at Fit This Gym, Reading Lane, Hackney. After being physically assaulted by another member in the ladies’ locker room, I reported the incident to staff straight away. Instead of receiving support, I was spoken to harshly by management and banned from the gym, while the woman who assaulted me faced no consequence. Great gym! I've been a member of Fit This for a while, and I can confidently say it is one of the best fitness clubs I have ever joined. The facilities and equipment are top- notch. The layout of the gym allows you working out easily even when it is more busy than usual. On top of that newly renovated sauna- great after long day at work or good workout. I've never enjoyed being in the gym as much as I have ay Fitthis. and its probable because the staff and gym goers are friendly and the space feels super inclusive. Outside of my own routine, I train once a week with Izzy and she's given me a lot more confidence in my training and im seeing results. Like anything, there could be some improvements....eg. the changing room hand dyers (please i beg get new ones) but I find it reassuring that when inevitable breaks happen they are communicated well and fixed efficiently.
I have been a member of this club for many years now and what I appreciate the most is the importance placed on maintaining a safe and neutral space for everyone. The staff are happy to be of help and are kind and cheerful. It's a well known club amongst those of us living locally. Very much a place we like to visit, particularly for the colder months as the sauna here is well kept and safe for all.
