first my disclaimer, I DO teach classes there-- but aside from that I WOULD join this gym, for LOCATION and the fact that they have Les Mills classes and it's pretty new (owner added new types of cardio machines after he opened too, which says it will be kept up). You can not get a better deal overall in Apex. The people are nice; yes, there are issues with the door not opening but recently I had NOT have a problem (I was told they fixed it and have not had issues since). It's awful and I would not recommend anyone join! I have belonged to over 10 gyms and this is by far the worst. It's crazy to me that they charge $25/month unless you happen to stumble upon a pay in full special. From the start, I have had issues. My husband and I signed up on Black Friday at $149 for a year. This may seem like a good deal but when you do the math, they are still charging more than it is to join to Fitness Connection - a MUCH larger gym.
