The induction cooktop was a disaster. A complete lemon. Only one burner ever worked. Their authorised technicians would not service it despite admitting we had 3x the ventilation required. Other independent contractors would not even come out because it was a Fisher & Paykel. Do not buy.
* UPDATE: After being in touch with online chat I was told "I was correct" in my review. I was then told I could possibly have express postage and I would be transferred to the parts department, I was finally told no one was available and to call parts myself. ..The same people I've already called and was told express wasn't an option. It's all a bit too hard and confusing, I just need a part. A week wasted with 'customer support' and I'm confident to say we will never buy another Fisher and Paykel product. Very poor quality off after care service! We book appointment for servis our dishwasher for today 8/9 for 7am nobody shows up at our doorstep so we call them 8.30am what is happening they said our appointment disappeared due to comp upgrade overnight but the technician is coming after 10.30am and he will be calling us 1hr before coming. At 1pm we call the service Fisher & Paykel again and they said that no one is available and next free appointment will be 15/9 and they can't do nothing with our situation! Almost 10 weeks without a fridge / freezer. The compressor on our 13month old unit failed. Can not get our model. Like capacity unit is more expensive, company is saying it is an upgrade and want us to pay additional costs. They are happy to refund us what we paid, but won't take into account the price increases on products. Absolute appauling customer service. Still waiting for management to contact us. Now with consumer protection. Not fair when you purchase in good faith.Will never use this supplier again. Quite upsetting... read more
