Horrible place. I drove from 3 hours away i called and spoke with a lady they said there was space for me and when I arrived there was no space so I had to drive back 3 hours back.
Amazing 🤩 Top notch Tucson, Arizona VA From the minute, you walk in you’re welcomed you’re made to feel at home. It is spotless, friendly more than accommodating this is better than some hotels I’ve stayed in. Oh, and the three refrigerators and two freezers and all the pantries OK better than home. I’m truly beyond shocked this is so amazing. It’s amazing and they’ve gone so out of their way to make sure that you feel so welcome and so at home everything you can think of is right here. I also want to express my gratitude for the Fisher House manager Mike Ramsey (Tucson VA) and his staff, they made us feel at home. Without the Fisher House and staff, we would have been lost. The exceptional service and dedication to the Veterans family should be commented.
In response to B Herbs review… we almost didn’t give Fisher House a try, she made this place sound horrible… we decided to stop by and at least check it out since it’s on the grounds of the VA Hospital… I’m so glad we did. This place is amazing!! It’s a beautiful, well maintained place. The staff is exceptional! We’re here over the Christmas Holidays and we really didn’t expect much but everyone does whatever they can to make our stay pleasant. I am sure there are great Fisher Houses, but not this one- Horrible experience from check in through departure. I even left early and opted to pay for hotel. Very uncomfortable sleeping, not just a very hard bed, BUT NO WAY TO LOCK YOUR DOOR FROM THE INSIDE. NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN. And I mean a VERY hard bed, and it was a size used for youth- smaller than a twin, short, and rock hard. Staff seems to not agree on policies either.
