if you love your pet at all DO NOT take it here, his negligents and not caring cost me two of my pets lives. took him before the board of vets and they slapped him on the hand. What gives with these people. want to read the results go to www.dhp.virginia.gov. this isnt his first rodeo with them and they did little. please ,please stay away from garrett. he ,s a makeshift vet. dont even no the right drugs to prescribe. i give him not even a star.
We use Fisher Hollow Clinic and have always had good results with our pets. Good to have a local Vet as opposed to having to take your pet on a long trip to Abingdon or further.

Vet The vet office was so sweet and I called several times during the day to check on my pet and they didn't mind me doing so.
This vet should NOT BE LICENSED. HE'S RESPONSIBLE FOR TERRIBLE, UNSANITARY TREATMENT AND DEATH OF PATIENTS AND HAS MANY PUBLIC COMPLAINTS AGAINST HIM, ONLINE AND IN THE COMMUNITY. SAVE YOUR PET FROM HIS NEGLIGENCE. DO NOT USE THIS VET!!!! I WOULD RATE ZERO STARS IF IT WOULD ALLOW. HE IS THE WORST VET I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE.
worst vet ever they do inhumane things like heart stick they did this to mt cat it was horriable
I breed American bullies,now prior to 2012 bread American Rottweilers prior to 2000 I bread Doberman pinschers in all my days of breeding and raising dogs I've never heard of a vet like this one that chokes a 10 week old puppy til his tongue turns blue in The process of removing stitches from his ears.
AWFUL! DON'T RISK IT. I'D RATE ZERO STARS IF IT WOULD ALLOW IT. Do NOT risk using this vet. Our visit was traumatic. Dr. Garrett was very rough with my small dog and even had the audacity to say to me, "If it was my dog, I'd take it out back and shoot it." WHO DOES THAT??? I was shocked and got out of there as soon as possible. He has no business working with animals!!
