Very, very disappointed by Fishtale. I had a non start issue with a 200 Yamaha that I purchased from Fishtale. I trusted them. BIG MISTAKE. They charged me $505.00 and gave me a written estimate that my engine needed over $9500 in parts and thousands of dollars in labor. I could not believe it. They told me that it was not worth putting the money into the engine and should just repower. They said the engine was ruined. Extremely disappointing service department. We purchased a new Chapparal Suncoast from Fishtale in 2018. Everything was fine with the boat until a month ago. The 2018 Yamaha would not start. Called Fishtale, they sent a tech out who determined that the injectors were clogged and the boat had to be trailered to their facility. They told me they would not charge for the 45 mile trailering. They took the boat checked it out, and told me that the fuel was bad, injectors were clogged, and I needed to repower, for $22,000. What a... read more
