Very nice medium sized regional park. Recently refreshed parking lot. There is a clean swimming beach along with canoe rentals, volleyball, dog park, boat launch, but it is missing any activities for kids besides the beach. It sorely needs to add a playground.
This is a beautiful park. Lots of dogs, lots of activity, well maintained paths. We rented the pavilion for a party. Facilities were nice. Though it seems the outside bathrooms were locked? People kept trying to come inside to use the bathrooms. And some people setup a party on the back of the pavilion so we couldn't use that space. Also was difficult to follow instructions for emptying the trash, had a hard time finding where to empty the trash containers.
