Our first time in bar harbor and thought we'd try the fish house grill and after wish we hadn't. I ordered the FHG burger which when it came out was a large round tasteless (not sure) frozen patty. It was dry and near choked me. I paid $17 for the burger with potato chips from a bag because fries were $4 extra. My wife ordered the fried haddock sandwich with chips from a bag ($20 ) which she said "smelled fishy" yes, its fish but real fresh haddock doesn't smell says my uncle the fisherman. Cold, undercooked, and overpriced. Don’t eat here, it isn’t worth it.
The food here was one of my best meals I had while in Maine, and the view from the pier on a beautiful sunny day was amazing
Freshest oysters I’ve ever had! I’m from Maine and even I was impressed! Fresh seafood and great service!
