Totally awesome place. Mooring buoy, but rocky shore. Good fishing and hiking. Diesel drip stove in cabin. Bring protection, people have been murdered here in the past.
Stayed there for one night and my only regret was letting my camera battery die, so I couldn't get a picture when I went out at night and the bright golden moon over the water was absolutely SPECTACULAR. It's the perfect place to just get away. We didn't see another boat or sign of humans the whole time. There's a nearby eagle's nest and there's fishing just off the front in the estuary, as well as freshwater mussels/clams and fish in the shallow lake about half a mile into the woods behind the cabin.
