I have eaten at this place many many times. I truly enjoy their food. Today though, two absolutely disgusting events took place this Sunday. My food was served by a young man that I observed stuffing his face with chips, then without washing his hands delivered the food to me with his fingers in my food. Second, another young man drops a bunch of plastic glasses on the dirty floor and proceeds to put them back on the shelf!!! Worst hygiene I have ever seen. Disgusting. The Scottish egg was pretty good. The fish and chips were pretty good but a bit on the bland side. The starter sauce might as well be a side of mayonnaise. The service was good but not too impressed overall. I'll give them one more try on the Sheppards pie, but a little spice and flavor would go a long way.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. They have really mastered their menu and experience. I’ve never had a below 10/10 experience from this place. They keep everything simple and amazing. The food is exactly what you imagine when you think of traditional fish and chips. It’s also consistent it’s never off it’s perfect every time. It’s also not greasy beer batter like most places.
