My husband and/or I have stayed here a few times now in two different rooms. The accommodations are lovely, quaint, clean and comfortable. Everything I would like to have in a hotel/motel is available including a TV, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishes, utensils, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc. I love that there's a restaurant right across the street so we can walk over to eat or order food to-go. Comfortable, clean rooms with heated floors made this a nice, peaceful getaway weekend when I first stayed here a couple years ago. Great food across the road too. Friendly owners and ease in booking, not to mention live music at times across the road, made me want to come back to this very location again.
I have stayed there twice in the last month while my wife and I are starting to build a cabin not too far down the road. It really is a hidden gem! The rooms sizes have a nice range, so depending on how many people you have with you, they can accommodate. The rooms are very nicely decorated and very clean. The restaurant across the road has excellent food and cocktails. The bluegill sandwich is a must! I met the owners' this past weekend and they are wonderful. We will definitely be staying there again!
The room was decorated for the up north vibe which was very nice. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay with all of the amenities they had to offer! Not to mention the convience of being near fishtrap lake alongside many other lakes nearby. Would highly recommend staying if you're looking for a nice northwoods getaway.
Stayed 3 nights . Had a great time . Rooms very clean, enjoyed touring the area. Great bar/ restaurant across the street, recommend the fish fry and old fashions.
