I have had this company for student loans since I started college. They are very easy to work with. I hate making phone calls, but I have learned many times that calling Firstmark is the easiest call to make. Every one of their representatives I have gotten are very nice, very understanding, very easy going. I just got off the phone with one of them and they were laughing and making me laugh. Terrible company, will not work with you and very unpleasant to deal with. I highly recommended staying away.
There is a reason this company has a 1.4 rating. If I could leave a negative star rating I would. This company is the servicer for South Carolina Student Loan. Firstmark is a place you never want to be! The payment amounts and when they are due will constantly change depending on when you call Firstmark. Your payments will skyrocket and you will never get the same information twice. Horrible customer service and no regard for the people they service.
Absolutely unhelpful when you are in need. They also doubled my loan payment when I was a day late of paying my bill. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE.
