Dont use Firstmark Services. When I discovered a mistake on my Experian credit report still listing me as a co-signer on my son's student loan with Firstmak, I contacted Firstmark by phone and by email 18-20 times asking them to contact Experian to correct this mistake since I cant prove it's a mistake without Firstmark's help. Firstmark was very unwilling to send me a letter indicating I am no longer the co-signer or contact Experian reporting the mistake. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I am currently a student, but they won't put me on deferment even though they did it two years ago and I am literally STILL at the same university. Also falsely stated my loans were paid in full?? and then were like "nah my bad". Refused to answer of my actual questions and gave me the same autogenerated response over and over again. I'm convinced no one at this place is real, and it's just a bunch of AI/LLMs in a trenchcoat.
Terrible in every way. Every rep you speak to gives you different information and no one is ever on the same page
"Wow, it looks like First Mark is gearing up for another class action lawsuit! My daughter took out a loan with Discover through her school in California, and they sold it to this predatory lender..
