Lots of last minute cancellations was difficult to deal with. Home care workers would do the minimum took no initiative. Scheduled for required four hours but did the basics in two and rested in lounge chair never asking if anything else could be done. First worker helped sort through things to go to Goodwill and then asked if she could have the items. Office staff felt little care or responsibility when worker cancelled. They didn't do anything to remedy the lost care. It was too bad see you next week. People deserve better... read more

My Dad spent six years in a local Assisted Living Residential Home. There were a number of times during those years when he required care above and beyond what the place he lived was able to provide, so we obtained additional assistance from several local companies that provide help to the elderly. FirstLight was far, far, far above and beyond any of the other companies we used. First Light Home Care has been a great partner for me in the long term care industry.
