I’m so grateful for FirstLight home care!! I’ve been caring for my father for almost 3 years and have used many home care services. After a lengthy stay in the hospital and a short stay in LTC,(we had a terrible experience in a facility) I needed help at home, and found FirstLight. I’m so thankful for the aides and staff! Everyone is so polite, attentive, and patient!! They have worked so well with my dad as he can be a handful. Dekeira and Brunel are amazing and take such good care of him. I just want to commend my caretaker NeeNee. Even though we don't have her services but once a week, for four hours she really makes her visit productive. She has bonded with my husband, for which I am grateful.

I didn't have a good experience with Firstlight. Although the owner is compassionate, kind, caring, and the heavy hitter is hard working. However, she's not a caregiver and the caregivers I encountered did not represent her motto. Two were felons and one was a thief. Because of that, it was clear nobody took the time to drug test nor a background check. Must I add the owner went over and above to find a qualified match for our family. No weekend help to accommodate us. I'd suggest you do your own background check.
