The whole team is amazing and flexible. They work with you as they want you to succeed. They support each other which in turn helps support you. They help make something that seems so impossible become a reality by guiding you and providing an option that works for you.

If you are looking at getting WLS, start with FirstHealth Metabolic & Weight Management in Southern Pines/Pinehurst. I cannot say enough or give enough stars for this clinic. Both surgeons are PHENOMENAL and the entire staff goes above and beyond to help anyone in need. They will work hard with your insurance to get you approved and make surgery an option for you and the staff is MORE than supportive from beginning to end and maintenance after.

Why not just stop accepting new patients? I wouldn’t suggest this option for non surgical. The endocrinologist they work with is actually booked at least a year out. They don’t tell you that after you jump through hoops to get started. I started this process in February. Still no appointment. They’re not the only endo in the world. They should just be transparent and stop accepting new patients. I can’t imagine the nightmare it would be getting medication’s approved.

Dr. Washington and Dr. Grantham are absolutely amazing and so is their staff. They offer both surgical and nonsurgical weight-loss options. The process varies depending on your insurance company, but the staff are knowledgeable in dealing with these companies and in working everything out. My only regret is that I didn't do this years ago. I feel like I've gotten my life back. I cannot recommend them enough!
