First Gear has given nothing but superior service to me and my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. Everything from replacing brake pads to a new engine when mine blew. They’re fast and honest with all their work. From showing you what’s wrong to giving the best prices possible. I have been dealing with them for about three years now and drive all the way from Davenport just for their service. I have referred several people to this shop and have never heard a complaint from any of them, only compliments.
Pete and Dawn were great at First Gear. They took on a big job with my '99 4Runner. The car runs great and they had it done in a timely fashion with the estimate. Pricing was more than fair for the quality of work they did. I would highly recommend First Gear for any car troubles that come your way.
BEWARE. Brought my jeep wrangler in after being recommended to this place after I got told my Oxygen sensor needed to be replaced because my RPM kept dropping suddenly and my shifter wouldn’t go out of park. The owner of the shop said no that’s not what’s causing it you need a new transmission so I said okay, dropped 700$ In rental car fees and 278$ for fees for them to replace it. After 2 weeks I get it back and 3 days later I get stranded on the side of the road because the issue is still there and I can’t drive. So I take... read more
