So I've been banking with First bank for over 20 years.they are in the process of a take over with PNC. Not too happy about this move but of course it's the way of the times. PNC is a very large bank with large ideas and diminished home town banking feel. Kuddos! But not my speed, this may be the next banking jump i do....Belco!!
How is the estimated wait time for a call always 35-45 minutes now? The change from PNC has already made this bank go down hill with customer service. There like 4-5 tellers with one doing work. The rest of the employees aren't on phone calls, why not? Why can't an employee teller thats just standing around, answer a phone?
I have been banking here for over 5 years, and have both personal and business accounts here. They've really stepped away from being a pro-consumer bank. For example, a few years ago, they had ATMs in every King Soopers and waived ATM fees out of state. Now they switched to some 3rd party ATM network, and if you use an ATM out of that network you will have to pay the ATM fee AND another fee that the bank charges for using an out of network ATM.
