I went to close my dad's account after he passed. They copied the death certificate and our legal documents naming me as executor. They submitted paperwork to open a separate account instead. I jumped through too many hoops to still not have my issue resolved. Elizabeth submitted the request incorrectly and now nobody knows how to fix it. Bank employees should know how to close an account.
