Avoid the buffet First Wok gives you a lot of food for a very low price. I highly recommend getting their food to go or at the very least, order off the menu. Their buffet is offensively bad and extremely limited and the choices don't seem to be refreshed very often. They say (meaning I say) the key to a good Chinese restaurant is how good their hot and sour soup is. Sadly, First Wok's is too inconsistent. One day it'll be perfect and the next it's like jello. My favorite Chinese restaurant in Cinci. Clean, good service, good price! Nice atmosphere, large size egg rolls. The way Chinese food should be!
Awesome – 1st Wok...rocks!
Love this place – Last time I had the lunch bar it was good. I order pickup all the time because of the distance to me and the tastiness of the food. They are very nice and very quick.

Very Disappointed – My wife and I decided to try this nearby eatery recently. We did takeout, as we normally do for Chinese. We ordered pretty standard fare: Kung Po chicken, beef lo mein, a couple egg rolls, and crab rangoons. The food was ready promptly and we got everything we ordered, but that is where the positive aspects of this experience end. First Wok gets 1st Place – Small but comfy little spot nestled in Hyde Park Square. I thought it was another personal lunchtime discovery about two years ago--but it's become the standard Chinese spot for my entire office. General Tsao's chicken is an all time favorite along with the chicken or shrimp egg foo yong. Really reasonable prices and friendly faces. Offers lunch buffet and quick carryout.
