Although others were pressuring me to get quartz, I knew I wanted granite in the kitchen. From the moment we met Glayde at First Stone, I k new we came to the right place. The countertops and island look amazing, and the workmanship was impeccable. Kevin and his co-worker take pride in their work and it shows. Glayde treats every project as if it was her own. She is not satisfied unless it is perfect. Our new kitchen is now delightful to see!

Gleyde and Kevin were extremely helpful in choosing the best countertops for two bathrooms and a kitchen in our home in Maine. The installation came out beautifully and when we finish gutting the downstairs guest bath, they will be installing one more countertop. They worked carefully with us and helped us choose the best sink options and were great with communication as the job proceeded!
My husband and I originally had a deposit on a piece of quartz sight unseen at a large warehouse. Our contractor suggested we take a quick ride down the street to First Stone and look at some stone in person before committing — best advice we got!! We ended up getting our deposit back from the other place and instead bought an incredible piece of quartzite right off the truck in their yard. Finally, a countertop designer, fabricator, and installer that communicates well and does great work! We had a fantastic experience with First Stone and was honestly the best part of our home renovation process. Gleyde and her team were professional and had great prices and design inputs to help us with our project. Highly recommend!
