This is Hilda Schmidt, the wife of Steve. I was seen by Kaitlyn McLeod on May 5, 2025. My injuries are motorcycle accident related. I have a slight left sided stroke, my left eye peripheral vision is very poor, as is my vision, my balance/walking is very poor. I can't express enough how truly life-changing our experience has been at First Steps Wellness Centre. The staff make us feel welcome and at ease. They are not only incredibly professional, but also kind and genuinely caring. Their expertise and knowledge are second to none, and you can feel the difference in the approach they take. I want to share my experience in this review. I am very happy and satisfied with my therapist. They have expert therapy and the staff were very good. The equipment are very helpful for our recovery. They encourage us to our potential and not limit ourselves to what I can do
The best facility! The staff create an environment that is welcoming, inclusive, encouraging, and energetic. They look past their clients disabilities and injuries and help them work towards regaining independence and achieving their goals.
Such an amazing place. The First Steps kinesiologists do such important work and give hope to their clients and clients’ families!
