Huge thanks to First step therapy of winter haven that has made a big change on my son’s learning, he entered very shy, not talking, not so social, and not eating, and now he plays with all the kids, talks a lot at home, sings animals songs, completes all the task, cleans up toys and after eat, has calm down and pays attention, all thanks to the great therapists, Paola, Sarah and Cassey! A huge thanks to Betzaida and Wanda for always being helpful with scheduling, listening to concerns and simply being amazing!! 😻 A+

This place is amazing, My son Oscar who has a diagnosis of autism and is non verbal has been coming here for almost a year, needless to say everyone loves him and he loves them, he started with no speech and couple months later he even says his speech therapist name, FELICIA WHO IS A GODSEND, when my son goes there he doesn't want to leave, she takes such amazing care for him and now he says "eat", "isha"(felicia), he makes animal sounds, he is understanding simple directions and is doing things that we never tought were pos... read more

Me encanta este lugar mi hijo estuvo en terapia física , pero ahora necesita otras terapias ya le hicieron la evaluación pero trato de comunicarme y no logro nada , quedaron en llamarme y nunca me devolvieron la llamada .

My son has improved DRAMATICALLY since being in therapy. He absolutely ADORES Ms. Sarah, she’s so attentive and patient with him. At first I was skeptical, but it’s literally the best decision I’ve made. He’s now gotten so much better with everything that I used to stress about, and I can tell he’s retaining a lot. Ms. Sarah is literally the best.

Felicia Tilak is an exceptional SLPA. She is organized, patient, and hardworking. She has a wealth of experience working with children with severe behavioral needs. She has never missed one session with a patient in her 8 months of employment with FST at the Overlook location in Winter Haven. One patient of hers went from saying 5 words to 50 in three months.
