RecommendedVery happy with service and products at this credit union. I do most of my work over the phone and in the Rome branch and they have been nothing but timely, accommodating and professional. Very helpful with financial tools in building credit for young professionals! Strongly recommend First Source over the local competition and especially over larger banks.
One week ago, my debit card was stolen, so I paid FSCU to rush me a new card. Well, here we are one week later and I still don't have the card. I might just as well have saved the $20.00 and had them take their sweet time, because that seems to be what they're doing. When I asked for a refund, the lady told me "that's not possible". Nice, really nice...

RecommendedStarted with them over 30 years ago and they have helped me with every journey in my life. I would never bank anywhere else. They also have had amazing people from tellars greeters loan officers right down to the telephone operators. They have helped me build my credit and bailed me out of hard times. Thank you to everyone who has helped throughout the years.
RecommendedI would like to thank Lynne Orendorf at the Herkimer branch for going above and beyond. In well over 10 years I have not one complaint no matter who I’ve dealt with there. When First Source says they treat you like family they mean it. I would never bank or do financial business anywhere else. When I called to let Lynne know my vehicle I just purchased and financed with First Source two moths ago was totaled she stopped and immediately took care of everything for me. You can BARELY CHANGE A PASSWORD, horrible ENCRYPTION, online banking services are ALWAYS FAULTY AND ANNOYING. THEY HAVE A LACK OF ATMS Please hear this warning and go somewhere else for a bank. God bless you all and peace be with you.
RecommendedEveryone at First Source from the helpful people at the front desk, to the tellers, to the financial service representatives are beyond helpful and go out of their way to help make things happen. I have been nothing but pleased since I opened my account a little over 2 years ago after having an unpleasant experience at my previous financial institution, but most recently they have taken so much stress out of my car buying experience that was just awful in every other aspect. Thank you, FSFCU!!
APPARENTLY RUSSEL THINKS ITS OKAY TO YELL AT CUSTOMERS BECAUSE OF A MISCOMMUNICATION ON HIS PART. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I work for a bank and I would NEVER expect that crappy level of customer service. You would think the least a teller could do is be professional but apparently not. If I could give zero stars I would. I got a lot of recommendations to get my loan from First Source but NOT anymore. You don’t treat CUSTOMERS that way. I feel bad for my mother having to put up with such terrible service.
