Daughters first night in her apartment and we get a scam $100 invoice for allegedly calling maintenance to open her apartment door. These scammers prey on students with hopes they give up, or don't notice the charges and pay it. Totally dishonest practice. Would not recommend this to anyone.

If ZERO stars was an option, that would be my selection. These people are the biggest scammers out there. They prey on college students, especially during the end of the lease. It doesn't matter how hard you work to clean the apartment, they will charge you a cleaning fee (recently $325) and carpet cleaning ($100). For such a small apartment, 4 very small bedrooms and a small kitchen and living area - please help me understand how it costs $325 to "clean" it, not to mention that it's part of what they would do anyway. First Site is absolutely the worst rental company I have ever encountered. I am a professional adult who has lived all over the country for work and I 100% would never rent from First Site again. I lived in a poorly constructed two bedroom unit for five and a half years. I had to contact maintenance multiple times for every single issue. At one point my furnace wouldn't work and I was left with no heat for 6 days while the temperature at night was below freezing each night. Communication with management is non-existent.
