Came out to replace a kingpin and brake caliper. The tech spent an entire day trying to get the kingpin out, and only succeeded when one of my employees pointed out the correct way- less than 15 minutes later the pin was out. The next day, he spent the morning trying to force the new kingpin in (the wrong way) with no shims to center it, then forced the lock pin in incorrectly as well. Both items were damaged, and the tech put so much heat on the pins to get them in place that the lock pin was melted to the steering knuckle.... read more
