We found that the sump pump had failed, causing our basement to flood. Unfortunately, the mold exploded in a nuclear bomb type fashion. Mark, of Lake Regional Restoration, was contacted. He was the only one to call us back. He got the job. Mark was there when he said he would be He took care of the remediation. Upon first reaching out to Lake Regional, Mark appeared friendly, outstanding & professional and communicated his cleanup plan with us. I felt at ease. I was very up front, told him what the insurance coverage is for mold remediation and he said, "no problem." That impression quickly went south. After 10 days of claiming to "work" to remediate the mold (could not have been happening and this is a vacation home, so we are not physically there), I was told the bill was "probably around $30K and he was not done.
