Yep, the reviews are not lying, these guys are great. Made short work of my one bedroom apartment move downtown, super friendly and professional. Really appreciate them also having hanging rack boxes that you can use to just hang your jackets and suits without having to pack them in boxes, saves a lot of time and you can just transfer them straight out in the new place without having to unpack. I highly recommend using First Rate Movers. We had a great experience using them to move our stuff from the Toronto area to Ottawa. Our move was assigned to contractors that are regularly hired by First Rate Movers. The contractors arrived punctually, down to the minute. They were friendly, polite, and cheerful. They worked quickly and efficiently. First Rate Movers charges by the hour (not including the driving time). My Wife and I used First Rate Movers in July 2025 for a move from a 2 bedroom 6th floor apartment to a 3 bedroom house. Matt was great in accommodating us in one of the busier moving months of the year. The movers were great, careful and efficient; they had no issues move and were professional throughout.
