Do not waste your time..Service is lacking and impersonal at best. Waiter was not attentive and had to be flagged down repeatedly. After an hour of waiting for sushi our food had not come. Let me be clear that it is a Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 with only two other patrons in the establishment. I can only imagine the wait if they had been crowded..We left after expressing our displeasure..no one seemed concerned.
Met with a group of friends for a birthday celebration last night. Found the food to be mediocre. The food was thrown onto the plates as opposed to being neatly placed on the plates. We received the shrimp appetizers last. The chef was entertaining however I found his jokes to be offensive. He recited lyrics from rap music while cooking and even recited a line such as "b?%$ better have my money". Being a person of color and a female I have an issue with such behavior. The food is amazing and the Mai Tai's are to die for. The chefs are hilarious (Marco is my favorite). For my husband's birthday I booked the VIP room and I was very pleased that I chose this place. Downside - if you go here on the weekend when its busy expect to wait a while to eat but its well worth the wait. I've been going to this place for years and its always a great night out.
The food is delicious. The Chefs are funny and great. They really entertain you. The portions are big and tasty. The drinks are good and strong. They're staff is very friendly. My kids love the food, they even eat all their vegetables. I've been there a couple times with my kids and another couple time with my friends. Everyone I take there leaves impressed and satisfied.
