RecommendedThis is a great bank. They are local, friendly, and efficient. They don't charge fees for a checking account, and generally work with the customer on difficult matters. When you call them, you talk to a representative rather listening to a recording. Their mobile app is good too, as it allows for deposits. My only criticism is that they are not compatible with Google Pay. They are compatible with PayPal though.

I have suggested before and will do it again. The mortgage Dept should permit borrowers to pay their mortgage in two equal monthly payments. A 30 yr. loan would be paid in full in approx. 27 yrs. Most banks permit this.
I really wanted to support a local bank that supports its community but we are done. 3 times you have left me stranded with no access to MY money while away from home. The first 2 times I walked into your branch, told you I would be on vacation, watched you note my account and then found myself in the middle of NM at night unable to get gas, or at a car rental facility in Maui unable to get transportation. So very disappointed in First National. How can a bank assure "Golden Buyers" of a loan then after over 30 days into the escrow and $10,000. in inspections and appraisal deny the loan?
