I overdrafted my account .87. The next day, I deposited money to cover my slight miscalculation. I was charged $34.50 in OD fees! So, I paid $34.50 in interest on an .87 loan for 24 hours! I have no idea the astronomical interest rate this is but the bank made a killing off me. I called to try to get this refunded and was told that since I overdrew in 2014, they would only give me half? Apparently they keep records of THAT but being a customer for 18 years means nothing to them. Time to find another bank!
Can they get a slower teller to work the drive thru at the Madison Rd. branch. Every time I come here it takes her 5 to 10 minutes and I'm the only customer in line. She has one speed and it's super slow!
The transition of taking over Walworth State Bank has been a debacle. I haven't heard one local customer who's happy. It seems that there is zero interest in customer service, even with things that certainly don't cost the bank anything, but are now being phased out. Most customers in the area are looking for other providers.
They charge me for over draft for checks that when in during the weekend and even I transfer the money on line it doesn't take it because is weekend or after hours so they can charge the answer was that they couldn't do refunds because wasn't a bank error
First off let me say that I have no complaints with the service I've received with this bank. My complaint is with the app. I've had the Android app for years and have had no issues with it until the most recent update. Now the app won't work. I called the bank and no one seems to give a shit so I figured some social media blasting would have a better impact. GET YOUR TECH DEPT TOGETHER GUYS!!!
