If you are trying to cash a check as a non customer they will do it for $800 or less if drawn on their bank. To setup an account you need an appointment. And whatever you do don't show up just before they close to ask any kind of questions because the staff is less than friendly.
I have been an FNB member for the past 24 years and have used dozens of different locations all over western pa and have almost always had a good experience with them. Today, 12-28-23 I drove my wife to work in Franklin from Mercer, and realized that I had forgotten my wallet and that I did not have enough gas to get back to Mercer, thankfully there is an FNB in Mercer right?? This bank is disgusting ... offers overdraft, but when utilized cancels ur debit card without notice, flags your account, and won't let you get another one. So they penalize you for something they offer. Not to mention they don't cash checks written from THEIR bank for non customers over $250... then there's the customer service... can't get a call back to save a life.
