I closed my account today after many years. I tried to stick with my local bank, but it’s become increasingly challenging. They require me to visit in person to replace a damaged bank card, and they seem to be lagging behind in technology with their app and contactless payment options.(they have said contactless payment is coming “soon” for 2 years now) Since I work away from home, my card got damaged while I was traveling.
