First let me say this review is not a reflection on the staff at Ward's road 1st National because they are great. I recently moved to Lynchburg and thought it would be a good thing to switch to a local bank man was I wrong. In the years time I have been with this bank I have had to order 2 new ATM cards. I guess this must be because they are made so poorly they wear out ( No Tap Cards Available) 1st card I ordered because it wore out I was told 7-10 day for a new replacement after 11 days no card bank couldn't tell me what h... read more
I have been banking with them for several years now and as a Mobile Notary I get e-checks in which I have to print and cash or deposit… some branches will take my checks and cash and never think twice about what I hand them and then you have this branch which I visit frequently and they usually cash my checks too but then today I get a new teller and she looks at them like they are fraudulent and even goes to her bank manager and they REFUSE to cash or deposit and tell me I have to go to Wells Fargo to cash them they can’t d... read more

Abita ifa mess cause it is in process of working on changing inside renovating inside. But business as normal.
