Nothing but problems while banking with First Interstate. Computer glitches, miscommunications, people that don’t seem to know what they’re doing. Caused our family extra time and headache trying fix their mistakes. This was our experience at several locations in our area.
They refused to cash one of THEIR own checks during normal operating hours stating it was too close to closing and their vault was closed, 30+ min before closing time.
Worst bank I've ever dealt with. Never use them. would rather take all my money and move it to a cash app and use that than their Bank. Multiple times they decline your card hold the money that's in there 100% and leave stranded with no Help.
Been banking with First Interstate for 4 years now (previously Bank of the Cascades) and I've always been treated with friendly respect. Wither at this branch or any other in the treasure valley. I bring in a bucket of coin monthly and they never complain. They just smile and ask what more they can do for me. I've visited 3 of their branches more than twice, been on the phone with their customer support a handful of times; and they've ALWAYS been professional and helpful.
Best Customer Service I've ever received at a bank! The manager is awesome and the tellers are so willing to help!
