I was at the ED this morning and First Health employees are not taught to introduce themselves when entering a room. Cedric L the RN in the ED and the medical assistant just walked into the room and started typing. No introduction of who they were or what they were there to do. I literally had to ask them who they were and what they were there to do. Covid-19 should not stop professionalism but obviously it has and it's absolutely sad. I'm an RT and I know they don't mind seeing one less patient but it's their job! I'll just... read more

My wife was WRONGLY involuntary committed to your hospital. She has been robbed of her dignity because she wasn’t allowed to have pants or for that matter even underwear. I took her clothes to her and the staff said she couldn’t have them until after she was there for 24 hrs. I begged and pleaded with them to at least give her some underwear. And they refused. In the meantime my wife called me and said she wasn’t allowed to call me anymore because it’s long distance. She has a panic attack while I’m on the phone with her and... read more

I called Walgreen's in Aberdeen NC to refill my prescription for the controlled substance I use. They did not have it in stock and could not assure me that they would have this medication until 3 or 4 days. I contacted another Pharmacy that is part of the same chain as the one I go to. They have the medication in stock. They asked me to call First Health Clinic and get this prescription faxed to the new Pharmacy so I could get the medication filled . not worth 2 cents. stitch up a drunk who cut himself because he didn't want to go back to jail then sends him home instead of placing him on suicide watch. all they care about is the money and not the well-being of patients.

My husband spent about 36 hours there and we were so impressed with the attention and thorough care he received. Most staff (doctors to janitors) were pleasant and considerate. Even the food was reasonable. :)
