I had First General Contractor to re do my basement due to water, the management of Graham, Adam and Jamie were excellent to give me details of what kind of work would need to be done and prices. I want to thank Tyler for the great job he did on the basement great job. I would not hesitate to recommend First General .
If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with First General has been one of the most frustrating and dishonest service experiences I’ve ever had. To start, they misrepresented the timeline of their work to my insurance company. They claimed that mitigation began within 48 hours of the water damage, which was a complete lie. I don’t write reviews usually, but I feel so strongly about how poorly this company handled my situation and project. FGC was recommended by my insurance company, but no longer after I provided my feedback. They reached out to me personally after I notified them about the bad experience I had. Adam the “contractor”, offers you generally good communication and service up to the point where you have signed off on the contract, and paid the deductible.
